I live in Lake Havasu Arizona, and we are hitting 118 ' this week and you actually get used to it but you have to always replenish your electrolytes by drinking of course alot of water but also gatorade or even pedialyte, it comes in flavors and is made for baby's but you can really become sick if you don't..... you can also buy scarves that are filled with a substance that will freeze (in the freezer) and stay cold for hours, and you tie this around your neck.... It helps keep your body temp. down a little.... Face it when it's hot it's hot and you just do the best you can......

Wear cottons and preferably a cotton vest inside (cotton generally absorbs your sweat and keep your body cooler).

Drink a lot of water, preferably which contains lime juice and sugar. This will help in replacing what you lose through sweat.

Try to be in shady places rather than getting directly exposed to the sun. Carry an umbrella or wear a straw hat with those large all rounded flaps to prevent the sun from hitting you directly in the face.

Take a long a spray bottle and periodically spray yourlef with water.
Wear light clothing.
As hot as it is, wearing long sleeve shirts keeps the sun off you. (My husband used to do that when he drove trucks)
Aslo a hat will help keep the sun out of your face.
Wear sunglasses.
Take along a wash cloth. So when you feel hot, wet it with water and wipe your face and neck. It make me feel a ton cooler.
