Because fortunately in this country, it's no one's business who they lay down with. Not even yours.
Besides if you ask any soldier who's been overseas - he'll tell you, it's not exactly the sound of music over there. You should try traveling a bit, and then you could see it for yourself and then stop judging people all the time.
