For the past few weeks and now two months now. I've been taking things slow restroing my friendship between myself and male best friend Brendan Miller. When I see him around in Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments or other places he is happy go lucky, joking, talkative and when it comes to me it's completely opposite and not like that anymore.

Honestly...I feel more scared that I'm losing him as a friend. I don't know how to communicate with him my feeling this, wanting things better like it was before.

Is it easier for guys like him to relate to male friends, than it is a female friends like me ? Why is this ? How can I have our friendship be the way it was before, but much better ?

it depends on a person what he prefers to have.

Well first you need to figure out what changed between the two of you. Is it just that he can relate better with other male friends? I don't think that is the case, because if it were, you wouldn't have been able to be so close to him before. Perhaps your male best friend started to grow feelings for you other than friendship and instead of acting on them or telling you. He felt it was better to detach himself from you. Such is the case in a lot of male to female friendship. when spending a lot of time with the other gender often times people tend to grow feelings even if the other one views them only as friends. If i were you i'd try to make arrangement with him and try and find out what changed between the two of you.

typically guys can relate like the snap of a finger but the majority of the them do have different personalities but in a group setting guys are just guys if you're the only girl in the fold well it's hard to get a word in and the attention is not focused on you in the center of the conversation plus for girls it's easier because girls are more in tune or connected with eachother because all women are one united and sorry for that comment i was raised by three women in my family no dad in sight but have great uncles but i think the problem is that he's focused on other things which is a shame but if he was truly your friend like you say he is he would make time for you and try to be a better friend besides friends don't bail or cancel on eachother

Yes, I had the similar problems and still do. Especially if my guyfriend has a girlfriend. Guys act foolish with each other and have fun. can't change anything. How I got one of my guy friends to like me is when i'm with only him i would joke but sonner or later that becomes boring and you brake apart.

it depends on the the people in the friendship and also male and females are made so different, i think guys can be better friends with females or visa verse because there is no real competition

I think so because girls seem to be very competitive and will do alot of things to get back at that"friend" for getting them and but guys get mad for a day or so then push it aside like it's nothing.Girls seem to be more...Jealous and more dramatic than guys are.

Guys have more in common with other guys usually, so they will be more likely to make friends. It depends on how many common interests you have that you can do together and talk about.

most guys can relate better to their male friends easier because they hang out with them more often than they do with women
