Good question . . . 2006 hasn't been the most stellar year for movies, has it (despite the enormous amounts of money some movies have brought in)?
You didn't specify if the movie had to be released in the theater, so my answer is "Veggie Tales - Lord of the Beans". It's a great animated send-up of LOTR and it brought my kids a whole lot of joy.

The long awaited Pirates of the Caribbean- Dead Man's Chest. Johnny Deep has done a wonderful job creating his character and the supporting cast is back for more action as well.

Brokeback Moutain was so realistic. Similar to when i was in a correction facility for women, i wasnt gay but i fell in love lust with my roommate. We dont have good movies out there any more. Also a must see movie i could relate to was , Fun with Dick and Jane. I Had it all, good job, house, and nice car. Then just like that, lost it all because i was ungrateful of my blessings. On a lighterside, Narnia was a favorite of mines..
