We are living in a very fast pace life. We are demanding and expect the best to be delivered every time from our peers or family members. We think that time is a commodity available to us always so, we take our friends, parents for granted. We wait for special days like valentine, thanksgiving and others to show our appreciation while every day should be made special. It is the big problem with people who do not stop and smell the roses but instead complain of the thorns.

your to busy taking everything around you for granted now that you have lost someone close you should realize not to take any one you care for for granted. I lost my boyfriend of 20 years but we never took each other for granted and now I can look back and know that we lived every day being grateful we had each other. Just so you know we were only in our 30s and 40s at this time

it takes a wake up call to make you realize how special a certain person is in your life, but at times that wake up call comes much too late to make right all that was done wrong. never take life for granted and remember life is a fragile and precious thing.

because you are now alone and are wanting the comfort of the person that you let go. Don't worry if it is meant to be you can reconnect if not oh well life goes on. Learn from your mistakes

Because we tend to take things and people for granted. It's normal (unfortunately) not to realize what you have, until you don't have it anymore....the bad thing is, when it's gone, it's too late to show appreciation.

That is how stupid we humans can be. We talk good about a person after he is dead, but have nothing but bad to say about him when he was alive. This is hypocracy at it highest.
