I think that CDs should have warning labels.
After all, let's think about the things that do:
DVDs
Videos
Food
Cigarettes
Medication
Video games
And many other things. Some parents do care about what their children hear. Some kids don't want to hear that stuff. Some people don't hear it everyday, etc.

I think it's a great thing so that parents can tell what's in a CD before buying it for their kids if they're not up on the music scene - also if people are offended by rough language then they'll know not to purchase those CD's.

i agree, if parents do not want their child exposed to explicit lyrics, then they are given a warning about it if they are asked to buy a cd. there is way too much on t.v. and in real life anyways, so why not keep a little more away?

I think it's crap- my mother wouldn't let me buy a CD with the "explicit lyrics" thingy on it- and yes, you hear that language everyday anyway

I disagree. Swear words are just words, and children are goint go grow up using them eventually - all it will do is delay it for a while, not prevent it.
Besides, swear words are words like any other - if i say "s h i t" versus "shoot" when I stub my toe, they really have the same meaning. Catch my drift?
I don't really understand why people get paranoid about swear words.

I definitely think they should. People should know before they buy a CD what kind of stuff they're paying for.

Wasn't this decided years ago?
It should be on there, to warn parents but it's a free country so limit it. Just warn them with the PA label and be gone with them.
