Simple Home Remedies For Tired Eyes:

1. To soothe tired eyes, dip cotton pads in chilled milk and place on closed eyes for 10 minutes. Now relax completely.
2. Alternatively, you can place slices of cucumber or grated cucumber on closed eyelids for about 10 minutes and relax completely.
3. To completely relax the eyes and the surrounding muscles, close your eyes and think of something that is pleasant or soothing and at a distance. Now gently open your eyes and look into the distance. Next focus on an object at arm’s length. Do this extremely relaxing exercise four to five times a day.

Good luck babe xx

If you're going to spend a lot of time on a computer, take breaks more often than you normally would to give your eyes a break. I did research on blindness and found out that computers, video games, and tvs won't hurt your vision, even though people say that they will. But the best thing to do is take breaks once in a while to give your eyes a break and to talk to an eye doctor if your eyes are still bugging you.

Are you spending a lot of time on your computer due to work...or play? Try to rest your eyes as much as possible if it is work. If it is play, take some breaks. Go to the eye doctor regularly and have your eyes checked for reading. My doctor put a light rose colored tint and a light grey tint on my glasses and it seems to help some. Also, adjust the text size on your screen so you can see them without squinting. Also, put the monitor as far back as possible to be comfortable and still see good.

How long do you stay on the computer at one time? And how far away from you is it? You probably shouldn't be on the computer for over 2-4 hours at a time, depending on your sensitivity (if I were you I'd stick with 2). Is the monitor at eye level with you? It should be. Consult your opthamologist about getting some glsses that will be better for you while you're on the computer.

Have your eyes checked. Maybe don't spend so much time on the computer... it is not good for any part of your body. I know. I used to be a secretary and was at a puter all day long. In the evenings, I was married to a man for almost four years who worked nights, and so to be loyal I sat at the puter in the evenings. I was so stagnant that I got osteoarthritis in my knees, which I discovered after my hubby left me. (He got his green card so he felt he didn't need me anymore.) I tried to take dancing lessons for exercise and time, but too late! If I had it do to over again, I would have done more physical activities. So, my advice is find more physical activities.

Every 30 minutes, give your eyes a rest by spending a few minutes looking away from the computer, maybe just look at your wall or close your eyes for a few.

The easy solution is to stop using your computer too often and give your precious beautiful eyes time to rest.

Alternatively do what i do, put up with the pain and carry on using your computer!!!
