Probably. BTW, I think it's very weird that Brazil speaks Portugese when the rest of South America speaks Spanish.

I don't think they hate each other, but there are always haters out there, no matter where you are...Obviously, there is rivalry between both countries because both of them have the best teams in the world. Thats too bad both of them had to go....especially Argentina since they played much better than Germany and Germany only won by luck.
And also, for the other question, Brazilians speak portuguese because of well, Portugal settlers were in that area while in Argentina it was the spanish settlers...You should get a history book and look into that.

I'm Brazilian and I have to disagree with that statement. We have a huge rivalry with Argentina but that's because we are both very good at futball. I think there's a mutual respect among both Argentinians and Brazilians. And yes, we speak Portuguese but it's different than the kind of portuguese that people from Portugal speak. And no....that doesn't make us portuguese so please never consider a Brazilian portuguese because that will offend him immensely. It's just a language we speak it's not who we are.

We don't hate each other, I'm Argentinian, I have very good friends from Brazil ( they are the coolest people).
Just in football we have our differences.

We don't *hate* each other. Our rivalry peaks when the World Cup arrives, but in the end we'd rather see the Cup in the hands of a fellow South American, than in the hands of the arrogant Europeans that really *do* hate us (*cough*England*cough*).
