Don't get a nano. A nano and video ipod is similar in prices and nano is just small. Nothing special about it but a video ipod can play music and videos.

Depends, nano if you want something really small(careful its easy to lose), and you just listen to songs. If you want to watch videos you should get a video, iPod videos and iPod nanos are pretty the same.

Depends on how much music you listen to.
If you don't really listen to music that much, get a nano. Depending on how much music you listen to you can get different amounts of gigs on the iPod.(1 gig, 2 gig, and 4 gig)
If you are a big fan of music or movies get a 30 gig video iPod.

wma are not smaller than mp3.

Anyways, which iPod you get depends on what you want. I wanted an iPod to listen to music with (not watch videos, what's the point of that???) so I bought an older one.

Don't get an iPod... get something that will let you keep your files in .wma format. Those files are usually smaller, which means you'll be able to have more songs in a given space.
