JOHN GOTTI WAS THE CRIME BOSS OF THE GAMBINO FAMILY IN NEW YORK,PEOPLE LIKED HIM BECAUSE HE WAS CHARMING,HE WAS CALLED THE DAPPER DON FOR DRESSING SO NICE AND THE TEFLON DON BECAUSE HIS CHARGES NEVER STUCK,HE FINALLY WENT TO PRISON AND DIED OF THROAT CANCER THERE A FEW YEARS AGO.

John Gotti was a personable mafia don, who can charm the skin off of a snake. If you didn't know he was a don, you would most likely want him as a friend.

he was head of one of the new york mafia famlies. he got things done. but he also had people killed, stole, cheated etc. he was also supposed to be a "nice guy" for being a mafia leader, if there is such a thing. he would do favors for people.
