The funniest line i heard from ESPN / ABC commentators was the following (after the swedish player missed a PK against germany):
'Swedish with all hairstyles are disapointed'
(with camera showing swedish fans with vikings helms, long extentions, etc.)
Trust me it was funny!

Yeah, they are awful. Yesterday, in POR-ENG, the worst one, in my opinion, Marcelo Balboa, after Rooneys red card said that Portugal should "relax, slow it down, and be patient." Then, during extra time, he said, "Portugal really slowed it down after Rooney's red card, when they should have picked up the tempo." Also, his broadcasting partner has an awful habit of saying "UNBELIEVABLE!" That is one of the reasons it is so clear that he has never broadcasted football before. I mean, if he had, he would realize that upsets are not "UNBELIEVABLE!", nor are bad reffs or game-winning goals.

The dumbest and craziest are when they kept describing the whiner, injury fakers .... "sold it well" I found those actions pervert and disturbing, not only to watch but also to the watching kids who will one day become US soccer stars !!!

everything that they say from the time the game starts until the game ends..
That is why I perfer Univision, don't quite understand Spanish but at least you can tell from their tone of voice they have passion for the game
