I am replacing the a/c accumulator and comcompressor in a 1995 mercury mystique, and i need to know how much refrigerant oil to put in them.

you are supposed to drain and measure the oil from each componate replaced and then add that much to the new part. but on average the compressor should hold approx 5-6 oz. and accumulater 1-1.5 oz. make sure you use the oil specified by ford, and don't forget to lube your o rings

8 to 10 oz is enough. No less and no more. Be sure to use PAG oil for 134a system.

there is a sticker on your ac compressor that tells you how much and what kind of refigerant to use
