I work for a charity where a very well known person promised to call a raffle winner. They promised to call the winner at no cost .so the charity can use the money for its cause. After the raffle the Celebrity is demanding money before they make the call....A lot of money

Someone from the Charity should have a contract/agreement with the celebrity. If you are concerned -find out who that person is and verify what the agreement was --was there a time frame for the call, a min $ amount to be bid etc..... If you can document -the proof and the rescinding of the agreement upon the celebs part --.Try first to contact the celeb directly or through their representation to make good-- if all else fails .See who else might the raffle winner accept if you have other celeb contacts-- then go to press . Something like so and so makes good on charities raffle as so and so re negs on promise. Be careful and Be sure as the legal ramifications can be enormous. GOOD LUCK

Turn him in to the CEO of the charity. Then let it go... You might try praying for the bum, too. It's not easy but it should make you feel better.
