Road to Perdition, Forest Gump and an old anime called Grave Of the Fireflies. Its about Japan during world war 2 a boy and his little sister travel alone after their parents are killed and then they die.

Not sure of the title but its an old movie in which Bette Davis finds out she has a terminal disease but doesn't want to tell her husband...and in the closing scenes she starts to go blind (the first sign that she is about to die) as her husband is leaving on a trip, and she won't let her friend thats with her tell him.....
Also, "Goodbye Mr Chips"...another oldie...
And "Titanic".
I haven't seen Notebook but from the previous answerers I think I should!
