I am getting married soon to a wonderful girl and as a crossdressing guy who will be wearing a dress for the ceremony I would like to know if anyone has suggestions as to what type of dress could minimize masculine features eg broad shoulders etc.

I am average height and build.

...........yes I know it sounds crazy but hey, if you girls get to do the whole bridal dress thing, why not us guys too ? LOL.

Wow, is that ever cool! Congrats on finding a bride that enjoys your crossdressing too - she will be a HUGE help.

First, I'd suggest a long dress so that your feet will be somewhat concealed. As you know, feet and hands are bigger on males. You'll also want to have the hair on your hands removed and perhaps add false nails, unless you plan to wear gloves which are lovely - and available from many shops that specialize in "women's" clothes for men.

Any good (and understanding) bridal shop will help you acheive the look you want - I was pregnant when I got married and you'd never know it! THey can do the same for broad shoulders and help you with breast padding if you're going all out.

Be prepared for some prejudice - some bridal shop owners will consider you a weirdo or worse - but you, your bride and at least one person out here thinks it's great. Ask any c/d friends you have, or find a store that caters to crossdressers (which will probably make things easier.) or you can engage a seamstress to create a unique gown for you. Make sure to get input from the wife - you don't want to outshine her too much! I'd love to see a picture when you're done - I miss living in Toronto where people were more diverse. Around here you might be drummed out of town!

Happy Wedding to you both.

I think it is delightful. Congratulations. As for dress, avoid square neck and for goodness sake no padded shoulders or sleeveless. I believe v-necklines are good to minimize broad shoulders....and 3/4 sleeve or longer to play down larger, more muscular arms. (No cap sleeves)... a high collar could cover an Adams apple. Of course, you'll have to pad a bust-line, and something in proportion to your size. (don't skimp!)

You will be beautiful I am sure.

A line cut will work good its flattering on many body styles i would go with elbow or long sleeve with a crew or high neck to hide masculine features and you can have padding installed in the bust to make you more hourglass so to speak the shiner the material on the bust the bigger the bust will look

Get something flowy, but not too puffy or whatever. I guess you are trying to feel more feminine, so something maybe a little flowery, maybe a little lace. Don't overdo it though.

Sorry i'm not much help.
