The best book, well, series I've ever read was The Unicorn Chronicles by Bruce Coville. In these novels he takes you into a world of dream and fantasy, a world you never thought could exist and the world did indeed earned its name as Luster. You can discover creatures of every different shape and size but the best part is the unicorns.

The best novel I have ever read was "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. It is very long but I enjoy every page of it. It is a neat story about two twin brothers and how they grow up and how they split apart and how different they are from each other. There are alot of characters to follow though so you have to pay attention. It is worth reading though.

My all-time favourite novel is "Gone With The Wind" by Margaret Mitchell. It is perfectly written in terms of the classic story/novel. It's primary value to us, I believe, is the illumination of a very short-lived period of US History and a value system that had enormous impact and still does today.

I would love to hear some of your other answers: can you forward some to me? I am new to this site and still learning my way around. Is there a way to view the answers you've received?

My favorite book and the best one i've ever read would be"The Rescue" by Nicholas Sparks. Anything by him can really get my attention. His books are very inspiring and help with some real life situations. "The Rescue" made me look at lots of things very differently. He is an inspiration to anyone who wants to be an author.

Each one I read leaves a lasting impact on me. The most recent excellent book I read was "Milkweed" by Jerry Spinelli. It is about an orphan during the Holocaust who survives in the Warsaw ghetto. Well worth reading.
