Does anyone know how to get rid of muskrats?

Got muskrats in my pond. How can I get rid of them? Digging up the ground under the grass around the pond.

contact a local trapper, they will take them off your hands this fall.

Trap them and have the skins made into a fur coat. That is is there are enough of them.
