2^x = 3
xln2 = ln3
x = (ln3)/(ln2)

4^(-x) = 4^(-ln3/ln2)

ANS : (1/9)

another way of looking at this is

2^x = 3

4^(-x) = (2^2)^(-x) = (2^(-x))^2 = (1/(2^x))^2

since you already know 2^x = 3, this gives you

(1/3)^2, which is (1/9)

U CAN USE MS EXCEL:
IF 2^X=3
X=LOG(2^X,2)=LOG(3,2)
X=1.584963
AND
4^-LOG(3,2)=Y
Y=0.111111
SO
4^-x equal 0.111111
