I just want to know, what if a white guy liked a black girl?

I don't think it's any big deal, but then, I'm pretty open minded. I think people are people and love is love and only an idiot would place a color restriction on it.

I've dated mostly white guys in my life cause the black guys I knew didn't find me up to their rigid standards back in the day. That was ok. I got over my hurt feelings pretty quickly.

I married a white guy and though we have had our problems, it wasn't cause of race.

Remember, interracial dating always brings in others who think their opinions should change how you want to date. If you decide to do it, you have to be mindful that there will be others who will not agree with your choice of a mate. You then have to decide if what they think is more important than what you want. You may lose some people in your life, but that can be tempered by the people you will gain.

And if you date a black girl, why are you? Are you curious, sexually, beliving stereotypes or are you genuinely interested in her? Will you be proud to be seen with her, or will you expect her to be your "back door woman" and only see her when you want sex?

And if you are a black girl, are you going to be able to handle the black men who suddenly are offended by your choice? They often think they own you and that they have something to say about what you do. Are you brave enough to do what you like and ignore them?

Are you living in a place where IR dating is obvious, or where people won't pay much attention?

I've always listened to my own heart and followed the path it led me on. I've never been wrong. I like what I like and I really don't care what anybody else thinks. Can you say the same? If so, date who you want to. It's YOUR life.

I'm all for it. Love black women but I've got to admit that she would have to be the type who only goes for white guys. I'm not dealing with all the drama that goes along with dudes who think they own "their" women. Funny thing, living here in DC my entire life, I've only dated three black women and all were foreign born.
Just doesn't seem to me that American black ladies dig white guys, at least not on the level of a serious relationship and I don't believe in casual dating.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. I have dated several white guys. Just be prepared to deal with family/friends who may not be as open minded and receptive to your choice. I believe that we should love people for who they are and not their skin color. Unfortunately, the society that we live in does not always react in the same way.

As an adult if I choose to date outside of my race that's my business, no one elses, it has never been a problem in my family..I decided long ago no one can live your life for you so why would you give them the power to dictate. We all bleed red.

As long as the parents were cool with it, why not? If your parents are close-minded it will be really difficult to deal with.

Or if you like the person enough, deal with the parents anyway.

Like the kid coming from prep school. Mam asked :Was your friend at school a colored kid ? Said he, I forgot to look.. see tomorrow. Love knows no barriers.

Its lustful from the get-go, and people call that, "love." And its based on a racism too.
