Such as infections, getting a job etc?

I had no problems with healing, in all it took about 6 weeks to totally heal. Some jobs make you take it out, it depends on what kind of a place it is. If the business is more hip and young its usually OK, if it more corporate and stuffy you will probably have to take it out. If it is healed up all the way you can leave it out all day, if it is not healed you can buy a clear retainer post that looks like a tack at most places that supply normal rings and posts.

Well you can get a job, but most jobs will make you take the nose ring out while you are working, but other than that, i had no problems with it.

Depending on the job they will allow you to wear it, take it out or cover it up. I work @ FedEx and have to keep mine covered. If you are of an ethnic background and have darker skin, you may have to worry about a keloid if it does not heal properly. I however didn't have any problems with mine. Good luck!

If you ever get in a fight with someone be sure to take it out ...If ya have time.... a friend of mine had a little hoop in her nose ripped WIDE OPEN ! ..... Most jobs NO ! InFECTION YES! thanks : ) happy 4th

when i had mine pierced, i had to take it out and it hurt like crap cuz the "professionals" popped a vein in my nose when they pierced it and they had to take me to the emergency room and they operated on me

They are just nasty, and yes, people will sterotype if you have one.
