Yes, you can go on birth control if you haven't had your period, however, you have to be well into puberty. You need to see your doctor to make sure you are old enough to proceed with birth control. Birth control is not only used to prevent pregnancy, but is also used to regulate the menstrual cycle or get it started if you are older and it has not yet begun.

yes you can. some doctors actually put young girls who haven't started their periods on birth control to kinda jump start their system. be aware that you are in for a life changing monthly event that doesn't stop for the next 40 YEARS... think about that first.

You haven't had your period yet or you haven't gotten it lately? Either way, you can go on birth control pills because they just regulate your hormone cycles... but if you haven't gotten your period lately, you should figure out why not first.

Get yourself checked out first sweetie. Not sure whether you mean you haven't started your periods yet, or you haven't had one for a while. I think you'd be sensible to go and get some advice from someone you trust before you make any decisions - friend, family member or health professional. Don't rush this decision. X

if you've never had your peroid, you've got no reason to. besides birth control can really mess up your hormones. they can make you fat and make your knees start to crack when they bend. besides no period=no sex
