Why inexpensive? Wait until you can afford one and save up for it.

Depending on where you live you could drive to the coast, ocean, etc. Stay at a nice bed & breakfast. Here in Northern California you'd be able to drive up the coast to Fort Bragg, Mendocino, etc. stay at some great B&B's, do some sightseeing, ride the Skunk Train, tour a few wineries, hang at the beach, get a great massage (I highly recommend the couples deep tissue massage). Or you could go to Sonoma or Napa and stay again at a B&B or nice hotel, do a lot of wine tasting and eat at some great restaurants!

Since you didn't say where you were from or a general area it's kind of hard to really recommend specific places but this should get you started.

You can even just go to a lake, and rent a small cozy lake house/cottage. Or spend the day at an amusement park together. Something that is just the two of you, no other family or friends, etc.

Good luck!

Did you ever see the movie, "It's A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart? They couldn't go on a honeymoon either, but she hung posters from around the world (you can get them free at travel agencies, when they throw them away), she lit candles all over the place, made paper flowers and hung them over the bed, played some soft music and cooked a wonderful meal for her husband, making it a beautiful honeymoon for them. Depending on where you live, you can sleep on the beach, walk in the park at night, do a restaurant meal, eating the salad at one place, the main course at another, the dessert at another. Go to a romantic movie, hell, there are tons of ideas if you just use your imagination.

You should go to your state's visitor's center and see what hiking trails they have in the surrounding cities and go hiking and see the sites or maybe you could take a drive up the coast and find a small bread and breakfast and just enjoy each other or you could just stay home and enjoy each other go on a picnic. You married for love not for money so just spending time with each other is the honeymoon.

eeewww, NO motels. They're gross. Where I LOVE to go 4 vaca is Anguilla, but it is a little expensive. It's in the caribbean. It depends on how much is too much. Anyway, it's a beautiful island, the natives r friendly, they have nice hotels and the island is very small. I love going there. u should look into it. U should look at it online. If u go, I highly recommend goin to Shoal Bay beach. The villas aren't too great but it is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. A lot of celebrities go there to get away from everything vuz it's so beautiful and quiet

If money is too tight to go away on your honeymoon - why not book a decent hotel close by - hopefully it would have a pool and other amenities. You do know that hotels are cheaper on weekdays than on weekends, right? (except in cities where business meetings go on during the week - and they are emptier on weekends). Congratulations!

Depending where you live. If close to the ocean, walk along it with him. Grab a bite to eat at a seafood restaraunt. If you don't like that idea I would just hang out with him and make his favorite dinner. Go to a club and it doesnt have to be rap music it can be jazz. That shouldnt be alot of money. Make babies.

Are you near a beach of some kind? I find that sun, sand, and swimming suits (or not) make for a great honeymoon.

You could go to another town and go to a hotel......or even try camping out. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the most fun. I wish you the best of luck with your marriage.
