sorry to dissapoint, but no, this isn't a good website to learn how to play the guitar. I am a professional musician (just a really f-ing good guitar player) so what I'd tell you to do to learn how to play the guitar, would be 1st- Learn your chords. From C though B, mayor and minor. 2nd- Learn songs with those chords... just learn your favorites and play them all the time, to your friends and such, have fun with it until you can play them perfectly without your fingers hurting and such. 3rd- this is only if you want to be a musician, not just another guitar player, learn the scales listen to guitar music like Malmsteen, Satriani, and Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Paco De Lucia, and get guitarpro, is a really good tab program, really easy to use too. Then you can practice and become a good musician. Also, to be a good musician, you have to know how to get the perfect pitch in your ears, but that deserves a whole new question. I hope I can hear your guitar in some website when you learn (by that I mean "good luck")

the best way to learn to play the guitar is by taking lessons at a music store. Just go to one and learn about it. Also a great site that I used to use to get free sheet music is guitaretab.com

There are some good sites out there that have really good guitar lessons. First of all, the good ones aren't free. Second, either search for them yourself or outsource the porject to someone who knows how.
