LABELS ARE FOR SOUP CANS.
But I'll explain these stereotypes the way I see them.
I see goths as the people who dress in all black and fishnets and cut themselves and pierce everything and get tatoos and listen to slipknot.
Emo are people who listen to music like Dashboard Confessional, Hawthorne Heights, etc. and often whine about their lives.

I think goths collectively mope about being outcasts, whereas emos mope alone...because no one understands their pain

gothic people might be into spells and the dead. emo are depressed and sad. gothic people listen to industrial music . emo kids listen to emo. they tend to dress he same. black clothes and red. its all sterotypical. everyone and individual and does diffrent things. but theres ur sterotype
