It sounds to me like you are in a deep depression, maybe you shouldn't have stopped the prozac. (don't know if you consulted your doctor about that). Anyway, go see the doctor!

You could have mononeucleuosis, or mono... the "kissing disease". I had it for a while and would wake up at 5 for school, go to sleep at 3 after school, and wake up for an hour to do homework and then go back to bed. You could get a blood test to find out.

Also, if you feel like that all the time, it could be because if you get any less or any more than 8 hours of sleep a day, like... let's say you slept for 10 hours, it actually makes you want to sleep more because your body is sluggish and your body system has spent the whole day at rest. So try only getting 8 hrs and see if that helps. Having too much sleep or too little sleep both make you tired.

I know exactly how you feel, I was working over 60 hours a week and always cleaning the house, always being busy. Then I quit my job and thought I would have even more energy to put into cleaning the hosue and playing with the kids, etc. but instead I found myself sleeping later and later with less and less energy. The key to it all is getting up in the morning and doign a workout. I personally like Denise Austin, and she has two 30 minute workout shows on Lifetime channel at 7am every morning. Just get up and take a morning walk or bike ride or try an exercise video. This will get your heart moving and give you the pick me up you need to have that old energy like you used to have. It works for me!

Your circadium rythym is off balance, and you might be having depression. If you've been deprived, and have already caught up in sleep, then you should be doing more things.

You need to encorporate moving about. Get out in the fresh air, go to the park, enjoy life, and get some exersize.

I don't recommend getting RX's. They will not balance you and they will make you feel worse.

If you need more energy, consider small amounts of tyrosine, and recommended amounts of L-Carnitine and Co-Q10.

I am not a doctor but its sounds to me like you have some symptoms of anemia. (I have anemia and feel tired constantly unless I take my iron tablets)

I would consulte a doctor tell them how you are feeling and then see if they can do anything to help you.
