ok hears what needs to be done...first off I would have her talk to your mom about it ..then or if you both dont feel comforable about this then you need to go to the police an tell them what is happening..if you friend stays there all that will happen is she will get hurt an abused more.. .she will most likly be placed to live with a relative or can picked a friend to stay with...if she has no one then she will go into foster care..i would say to go to the police when she has bruises or anything that would show evidence..or for evidence you can have a type recorede or something o record an have her push play when her mom starts to beat her....please do this soon so your friend doesn't become messed up in her life..also she needs to seek counsleing...please seethe site below for further info..good luck an your a good friend for trying to help her!!

Don't give her any advice, go tell your school counselor what is going on so that you can be a true friend and get her help before her mother gets so mad and loses it totally, hurting her daughter by breaking her arm or even worse. If you are out of school, then you call the police and tell them. Give them your friend's address and get her the help she needs.

I've been there, my parents used to abuse me untill I got the courage to tell them to stop. The memories still haunt me but I have a wonderful girlfriend that is there for me. All I can say is be there for her, listen, don't try to change it the past is the past. Encourage her to tell someone and if she won't and it continues you have to have the courage to tell someone, society needs to learn to help each other. Why don't you start? Hope this answers your question or at least helps you out. Good luck and tell your friend to keep her head up and that it's not her fault.

That happend with my friend too. Just say anytime she needs to get away from her house she can come over to yours anytime she needs to and she can sleepover if she doesn't want to go home.

All you can do is to encourage her to report the abuse ---- if she won't do it then ... have your parents speak with her mom about the situation.
