people are prejudice againts people that did no harm to them and yet they treat them with no respect. Like with gay people it took them alot of courage to come out with being gay why don't we give them the credit of coming out with something that they had no control of;like people from other counties they can't help where they came fromand yet we treat them with disrespect, WHY?

Because all people have values, morals, beliefs etc. based on what they have been taught and their life experience. - Usually we believe ours to be correct & the other persons to be wrong and we make those pre-judgments based on the above.

With respect to the gay thing: Because people let religion brainwash them and take away any sense of autonomy. Even if your dealing w/ people that arn't particuarly religious, religion has still already set norms in society that people follow....If that makes sense.

I guess, in essence, it's hard thinking for yourself and overcoming irrational fears.

People are afraid of things that are different from the understood norm and feel threatened by it. Plus it's a whole lot easier to blame someone else that just take the blame themselves for bad times.

Shut up. You are just perceiving people as prejudice when in fact they just don't like other people. Just because you are sensitive doesn't mean you are not prejudice also.

Anyone who has heard of the cities of "Sodom and Gommorah" knows that they were notorious hotbeds of homosexuality. Genesis19:5-8 "and they called to Lot and said to him, 'Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations with them.' But Lot went out to them at the doorway, and shut the door behind him, and said, 'Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly.'"

therefore....being gay is a sin
