Post Office, Grocery stores, Gas stations, 7/11...
Don't worry, you will find it.
You ask for the amount that you need, they will charge a fee, so if you a 100$ money order, you will have to 101 $ or little more.
Don't forget to fill out the money order and to sign it, before dropping it in the envelope.
Keep always the receipt, in the case if the money order get lost, you can file a claim and get your money back.

Go to your local gas station and ask them if they do money orders. If they do they will ask you for how much. Tell them and then hand the clerk your money and they will print one up for yout. Next you will need to fill it out(almost like a check) and then do what you want with it. The gas station Quick Trip usually does money orders. Also you can go to a grocery store like Ingles or Kroger or Publix and get one from the information/customer service desk at the front of the store.

Its not hard lots of places sell them. I usually get mine at the supermarket or post office. They cost from $1.00 to $3.00. You ask for the amount of the order you are getting and the service person will print one out for you and take your money. Next you fill it out as you would a personal check and mail it in with the order number

All you have to do is go to a post office and ask them to make a money order for you. You pay the amount plus a small charge.
They print out who you want it made out for and the amount.
There are other places that make money orders, for example one of those "WE CASH CHECKS" places.

You can get them at the Post Office or Western Union, even most "quickie" marts have them. You give them cash for how much you want (plus a fee-usually around $1). They print the order. You mail it, then the person has to cash it like a check.

Easy as pie ... you have to buy them at a local bank or most any convenience store ... you give them the cash and they give you the money order .. it should cost just a couple of dollars for them to do it for you :-)
