I live in San Francisco, and what I like about living here is that the local population is made up of people who come from all over the world. You walk down a street, and you can hear people speaking in Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Russian, German, Spanish - you name it. And all the great food from every cuisine in the world! It's like taking a world tour, without ever leaving the 8 square miles of the city!

TEXAS--and mostly its because of the people --good hearted / hard working / straight up honest / and well meaning for the most part----now we have our rats don't get me wrong---but Texas ain't the place that tolerates much for long before it gets altered in some way---(Don't Mess With Texas)
Visiting Texas---you have your choice of almost every terrain and envoirnment that one can imagine outside a rain forest or the Artic----we have the rolling plains---the rugged western regions--the woodland of East Texas ---the central hill country and the Gulf Coast is world class for beaches --surf or gulf fishing and all the other things one searches the coastline for---also I might add here that we are slam up against Mexico and with a simple skip to my loo you're over the border and into the marvelous markets and the culture ----So pack for a two week stay and we'll try to convince you to stay longer once you get here-----YA"LL COME

I live in Nebraska 7 miles from Lake McConaughy. I think everybody should see it once. The white sand beaches rival that of Hawaii according to travel magazines. It is the largest(longest)earthen dam in the United States. We spend most of the summer there swimming, boating, camping and fishing! It is 26 miles long and 3 miles across at its widest part. The people out here in western Nebraska are very friendly and helpful.

This is Houston TX, I like it because there are many, many things to do here. The Astros,Rockets,Texans,The new Soccer team.Museums,Art Galleries,Nasa,The gulf is close. 100's of fine restaraunts. Plenty of big name concerts every weekend. Makes me wonder why I am at home. I guess it is because there isn't much fun in doing it alone. Almost forgot the Horse Racing and Dog Racing. Come visit you will have plenty to do here.
