I recently have been determined to get signed to a label and I obviously need help. Don't get me wrong... im not a lost cause. I do actually have talent. I just don't know how to go about it. I see more and more artist come out whose voices aren't as wonderful as they could be and I know that I could bring things into the world that would be accepted and appreciated. Does anyone know any record moguls or anything like that? is this silly?

Buddy, its all in the mind... you have to persevere and I am not saying this to discourage you...but no matter how many setbacks you may face... you still have to carry on... leave no Stone unturned to achieve your aim or ambition... get that fire-in-the-belly approach and never get disheartened... learn from your mistakes and take everything in your stride and just persevere... and success will be with you someday, Amen!
...and one more thing, when you're successful... never forget where you came from... 'coz as they say:
Treat people with respect on your way up... as they will be the same people whom you're gonna meet on your way down.

A little humility is always nice....
Anyways, start performing at local clubs and bars to get your name around and send demos to record labels, including indie labels. People often overlook the indie labels but they are a great way to make it to the big leagues.

Get some professional help(agent maybe) then promote yourself. Send demos to labels,do shows where they'll book you. You never know, Jay-Z's cousin's babymomma's sister's best friend may be there lol.Keep God first, promote yourself, work hard, and keep the faith and you'll do it.Good Luck in whatever you decide.

Go through burnlounge and get your music put on the web--legally.

You get paid when people download your music. I think this is a great place to start and get notifced quick. You need to be invited and she can get you hooked up with what ever you need.

You need someone to back you, an agent or a super producer like Pharrell, try to get your stuff in a producers hand.
