It's now the 9th of July, Done it already. I had to work that night, but I did get to see the fireworks. They were grerat.

I am going to work in the Emergency room at the hospital. Probably taking care of fools who are going to party like there is no tomorrow.
As much as I hate to say it, for some there won't be a tomorrow.

First, a real taste of independence...my stiches come out: over a hundred of them (can you say, "faclift"...? I knew you could).
Then, my sister and her family are coming to my house for barbecue and fireworks in the backyard. My sister & I are both *super* country cooks, so the menu will be large and lavish.
The highlight of the evening's entertainment will be, as it has been for years, the slightly intoxicated reading of *most* of the Declaration of Independence.
As they say around here, ya'll come!

BLOCK PARTY-w/ steaks, barrels of beer, wine, fire works, tons of food, pool, games, hot music, bounce house for the kids...just about everything...
