Parasites and Parasite illness
Recent medical evidence shows that many humans have significant numbers of internal parasites living inside of themselves and that these internal parasites are causing serious problems by stealing nutrition, depriving necessary oxygen, damaging body organs, and dumping toxic wastes and substances into the human body. There are several types of human parasites that infest our bodies. Among these are amoebae, cilliates, Coccidia, Microsporidia, flagellates, cestodes, nematodes, and hookworms.
The World Health Organisation estimates that 1.5 billion people carry nematode intestinal parasites and internal parasite infections.
The Human Parasite Dilema -- Internal Parasites
The parasite dilema is that humans around the world are infested with parasites including many from countries previously thought to be reasonably free of parasites, yes even in the United States. Recent medical studies indicate that American men live shorter lives of up to 4 years because of parasites. Other parasite studies find that the average human male carries up to 2 lbs of internal parasites inside of his body.
What are Parasites?
A parasite is an organism that lives on or inside of another organism and that derives its existance from that organism, is physiologically dependant such that it derives its nutrition from its host organism. Humans often have two types of parasites, ecto parasites such as lice and mites, and endo parasites ( internal parasites ). Internal parasites are often present as intestinal parasites, but may also be present in other organs.
