I'm a haitian, and some people think of haiti as a poor or bad place.

I'm Haitian and I've lived in Haiti all my life. Yes, Haiti is in fact a poor country, poverty (and even misery) is everywhere.
As for Haiti being bad, well, there is worse but it's definitely not the best place in the Americas to live in.... It is fact that so many Haitians are leaving their country to stay in US or Canada, and many are not doing it because they can't make a decent living but because the country is "bad" and they don't see things getting any better any time soon.

You know what my friends are Hatiansand they told me that Haiti is poor and very violent place some people stand for government other are against government yes it is bad.
I heard the story of futbol player from Haiti that he had to stay in US because people of government want him to change club so they search the house and kill his two brothers so his mother told him to stay in US because if comes back he will be dead.
That is realy fu cked up yes it is very bad.
