if I run, since I'm gonna run a long time I need a long song. Therefore, I listen to techno and you can't go wrong with Oakenfold. Doesn't matter what you pick. But a few good ones are Tranceport, Goa Silver and for DJ Tiesto, Deep Forest is a good one. If you want a short to medium song, I would go with Trip Like I Do.

I'd go for The Ecstasy Of Gold by Ennio Morricone. The other songs mentioned get your blood pumping, but Ecstasy makes you feel like a hero.

ok im more of a hardcore music type. So my favorite song to get pumped up to is Torch to end all torches by Thrice. But i can also go for down with the sickness by didturbed. Or BABA O'Riley by the Who. Or master of puppets Metallica....or Alphabet Arobics by Blackalicious.

The Black eyed Peas! Let's get it started! And Natasha Bedingfield... Usually alternative/(rock) songs are good for running.

I guess you could say that this is a 'guilty' confession: early Madonna (Borderline, Dress You Up, Luck Star, etc.) sounds wacky, I guess it brings back memories, and I think she represented a 'type of innocence', back then!
