I'm out of college and I teach Kindergarten. But I love to imitate characters from different books. How do I go about applying for a voiceover in the animation field?

first go to canada or look up special voice over school on the web. then make a cd or tape with you imitating charaters. find a voice over place and mail it to them. if they liked it they will ask you for a auditon. if your good you just might get to be in a anime doing a voice of a charater!!!good luck

kind of a catch-22 there. you need to know someone in the industry, then they can give a recomendation for you to a director to get your first part.

tyhe only other option is going to open casting calls and waiting in line several hours to give a couple of lines to casting directors. maybe you'll get lucky, but the other 500 people who showed up think the same way too.
