I write so many poems on love, i will give 3 for this answer.

Addicting Game

Games are fun
So is love
Games can be complicated
Enjoyable
Or a synapse
Between fun and boring
As is love
They’re so alike
Some people consider it a game
A game
I’ve never understood
And probably never will
This is what I have
For knowledge of this game
The confidence!
The desire!
The pursuit!
The loss!
The state of down trot!
The need for one more game!
Its addicting
The thrill of the game
After its over
You think…
“Is there no other way
Why couldn’t she stay
I shouldn’t have blown my shot
One more time
I won’t blow it
I know it”
You try again
Until you get it right
Or death pulls you,
Out of sight
And
Out of site
Love, is the name of the game
Its misunderstood
But often…
What’s needed most

Don't Worry

She said "don't worry and you'll be fine
it is only a matter a matter of time"
and then she sat right back and drank
the rest of her wine.
Then she prayed to the lord I'll be
I'll be fine.

Love is...

A cure for people
To fear love
is to fear life
It's best to love wisely
Bit it's good to love foolishly
than not at all
It's better to feel love
and get lost
than not to have loved at all
Give thee what I do not understand
For the loving
are the daring
but better known as the stupid
And because of that
there is not instinct
like that of the heart
For it has reasons
that knowledge
cannot understand
That, is what love is.

True Love is about the search for true love; the farther we go the more we have to work, but the reward is greater the farther we go. So we go until we think we have found the greatest good; and who knows, there may be greater.

its something we choose to believe in because it serves us and gives us a reason to sacrifice in order to be together. most people think its all about fun, but love is not fun at all. its one of those things that require energy and discipline. in return it provides us with valuable lessons and strengthen our believe in the world and creation. not everyone falls in love, those who do come out being a very good human being. remember love is not just about loving another person for sex, its for ever thing we do.
this may not be the answer you are looking for because you are probably in love and seek some advice from people, or maybe not. but this is true for me and this idea serves me well.

mutual acceptance between 2 people. Accepting the bad habits and the good ones. REAL LOVE must have MUTUAL trust and respect. If you do not trust the one you are with the relationship will not work for ever. A forever relationship has trust respect and COMMUNICATION. Helping the one you are you are with reach their goals. Real love is being able to say whatever is on your mind and not being judged or ridiculed for it being different from the other person.
LOVE IS PATIENT, KIND, TRUSTING, NON-JUDGMENTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND BEING ABLE TO FEEL SAFE AND PROTECTED BY THE ONE YOU ARE WITH.

LOVE is NOT hurting, hitting, cussing, putting down, insecure, or feeling scared of the one you are with for any reason.

I believe true love is patient and kind. It does not envy or boast, or is it proud. It is not rude, or self-seeking, or easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. True love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. True love never fails.

WHY THE FÜCK is everyone SO OBSESSED with "MEANING"

Reducing sex to words is so worthless.
That's the reason WHY movies don't show the sex act.
Not because of victorianism... because SEMANTICALLY there is nothing going on.

What is love?
Remember the doctor responding to the loverboy writer in "Closer"

Writer: "You don't know the heart"
Doctor: "HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A HEART? It is a fist wrapped in BLOOD!"

Giving it without requiring that it is returned to you. Love demonstrates the character of the giver, not the worth of the recipient.
