I would start by trying some nice browns. They will blend with your eyelashes nicely, but make the green of your eyes more prominent. If you have small eyes, don't line the bottom lid. If you line your top lid, do it in a sketching type motion and then blend it with a clean finger or Qtip. Don't be afraid to play with it all a little bit, that's half of the fun of makeup. If you are really concerned go to the cosmetics counter at your favorite department store and ask the ladies there what colors you should wear. You don't have to buy the expensive stuff there, but you can get a good idea of what colors and they can help show you how to apply it right.

I would choose something that is flattering to yourself. Since you have brown hair and green eyes, I would use a black or charcoal color to start. Then expand into more vibrant colors, such as a golden color, silver, and even white. The top lid is ok to put eyeliner on; in fact, it looks even better then you line the entire eye, not just the bottom lashline. I hope I've helped!

Try drawing along your lower lash line with a slightly shiny plum or green eyeshadow. It will give you a smudged effect. Black eyeliner on upper lid will look a little harsh. You can blend in brown and green eyeshadow on the whole socket. Stay away from liquid liner. If you really want to line your upper lashes, stick with a powder pencil and smudge it a little. apply a little highlighter on your browbone. It will look bright. Tip: junked up mascara makes you look older. If you have to, put a very light coat, preferably transparent.

Even if you don't buy it, go to a drugstore and look at all the ALMAY products. Their new packaging advises color coordination by eye color. You take their ideas if you want and buy a less expensive brand.
Never wear eye color to match your clothes!!!!
For top lid liner.......take a thin brush, wet it and put some darker shawdow on it & feather it thinly right about at the lash line..
allow it to sort of blend. Very natural and eye brightening.

Hey, im a make up artsist for the makeup brand MAC, i just had a model come in with that discription, and i would say to use nutrual colors, like browns, and golds. That would look best on you. As for eyeliner, black, brown, and green, would look fabulous on u. It also depends on the eyeshadow that your wearing. if your wearing a purple eyeshadow, maybe u should stick with a violet liner. it all depends, but i would stick with brown or black. Hope i helped! ;)

You should use brown for day and black eye liner for the night. But you have to be careful and pay attention to the shape of your eyes and see if you have big eyes and you wanna make them smaller or if you have small ones and you wanna make them bigger. If it´s the 1st. option you should use it around the whole area...upo and down but if you have the 2nd option...you should put in from the middle of the eye to the outside...ok?
and then remember that if you are not an expert you should NOT used liquid eyeliner ...only in a pencil ok?

Purple is an excellent color to bring out the color of your green eyes. Also, put some light pink on your brow bone under your eyebrows.

I'm the same...brown hair: green eyes. so light green eyeshadow always looks cute...dont wear like dark blue...it just looks gay. Plum also looks cute and light browns...depending on what your wearing, so does light pink...so pretty much stay with the lighter shades

Easiest thing I can tell you...check out Almay's range of eye makeup. They have custom shadow/liner/mascara for each eye color.
