Female bettas can live very well together and will not fight to the death. When they are introduced into a tank they will assert their dominance until you have a pod order (much like pack order in dogs or herd order in horses). There will be an alpha female who is in charge, a beta female, etc. If you just put them in a tank together then they are working out dominance issues. Usually they will work it out in 12-24 hours (very often much less than that). If, after some time has gone by they are still fighting I would remove one of the two aggressors.

If you just purchased your fish and they are very small and lightly colord it is possible that you purchased adolescent males. Some disreputable pet stores don't always know how to properly sex young bettas and will pass of young males as females.

you are not supposed to put betta fish together all in one tank. They are fighting fish. They will fight to the death. You have to seperate them.

Your not supposed to keep any kind of betas in the same bowl/fishtank. There known as the hunter fish and they'll kill each other. Move them into to different bowls ASAP
