If the blood test is negative... There are very few chances of being pregnant, but you better call your doctor on this.

Is a must when you are pregnant and even few % is reported on a blood test...

There is no way for a blood pregnancy test to be wrong if you are over five months pregnant. A blood test is more accurate than a urine test and can be tested earlier with accurate results.
It may seem that you are having pregnancy symptoms but maybe they are just in your head because you want to become pregnant or maybe you have some type of illness - you should consult a doctor right away.
It is possible for a blood pregnancy test to be incorrect, but only if you are under a week or so pregnant. It takes 6 to 12 days for the fertilized egg to implant itself in the uterus and the HCG levels may still be too small to detect. But anytime after 12 days after fertilization - a blood test will definitely detect pregnancy.

First of all, are you at menopausal age, by chance? Because, if you are, my sister, and I are going through what they call, before menopause....Perimenopause. This is a type of menopause, before the real deal... We've both gone 5 & 8 months without a period... And we're both in our mid-forties, too. Our older sisters cant believe we're going through this before, them... Your not officially going through menopause, until you've gone a complete year, without a period, however... But, if a blood test says your not, honey those blood test are pretty accurate! Your not having a cycle, for five months, could also stem, from stress. I would definately ask your physician, to do some more tests, just to play it safe, in case there are other things, wrong with you if you are not at perimenopausal age, or menopause age... That's nothing to mess with... Get further tests done, and or see what your doctor would recommend.. Good-Luck!!

I agree with a previous poster that something else is wrong, could be thyroid issues, cysts. But I don't think a blood test could be wrong unless they mixed up your blood, which seems very unikely, and if home pregnancy tests are negative, as is the blood test, I'd say you've got your answer.

The blood test at your Dr. measures your hormones and would not be wrong. I'm so sorry. I would get a complete physical to find out what is causing your symptoms. Sometimes the power of suggestion can cause symptoms to manifest when in fact it's more the power of suggestion. Please see your Dr. and best of luck.

I would say no..I've had pregnancy blood test done before, and it turn out negative.. If it turned out negative and you still havent had your period, you most likely will have to take a medication (example, provera) to help you start. Blood test are accurate..so, if yours turned out negative, your doc should set up a appt for you to see him/her.
Hope all turns out ok.

The blood test is usually very accurate. I don't think you are pregnant. Maybe there is something else wrong.
