i thought director bryan singer did an awsome job directing "superman returns? what do you think?

I think the movie was really great..! I really enjoyed watching it. The director did a very good job in directing the movie.
The only thing I'd like to watch more in Superman Returns is more of Clark Kent.. There seems to be less of him in the entire movie.. I'm not sure if everyone likes the idea of Jason being Superman's son as well..
But yeah, this movie is also much better than the X-Men 3 movie.. =)

I really liked it. I do have a question though: Did I miss the explanation of why Superman returned at the beginning in a spaceship, wearing another (darker) costume?

I didnt like it at all. Maybe because of how hyped up it was but I thought it was very slow and not that interesting. Also, there really wasnt any kind of fight scene at the end and he didnt even get the girl.

I think the movie was okay as a homage, but not as good as I expected. This movie is not revamping the series like Batman Begins is, yet it is okay.
