There are a lot of choices..talk to your health care provider to find one that is right for you. I have an IUD, which is a small T shaped device inserted into the opening of the cervix to block semen. They offer protect for some years (average 4-10 years). They can be easily removed by your doctor when your ready to conceive.

Abstaining would be the BEST method, but Im sure if that were an option you wouldnt be writing here. You two could always try the rhythm method, which isnt fool proof but is better than nothing. Thats where she knows her cycle, when she's ovulating and everything and doesnt have sex during this time. It works sometimes but mistakes can still happen. She can also get fitted for a diaphragm or IUD. Have her consult he Ob/Gyn about these different options.

She can go to her doctor and ask about her options. Some options are the Depo Shot. I currently take the shot myself. It is given in the arm or hip. It may hurt a little it varies from woman to woman. I believe it is 99% effective. I go in every 3 months to get another shot. It may have side effects which she can ask her doctor about like weight loss or gain and it may make u feel a little sick right after gettting it. She can ask about getting a patch also. As for the sensitivity is it just a certain material bc other options are available. You could also try spermicides. Hope this helps.

Tell her to go to the nearest library and pick up the book, "Taking Back Your Fertility". The information she'll gather consists of charts and taking her temp, to show her how her cycle lets out the signals that she's ovulating. It's not as complicated as it sounds. Very use full for trying to get pregnant or using a natural way of birth control. Hope this helps, you'll both be glad she tried it, I guarantee it.

Possible choices include surgery, IUD, contraceptive implants, or abstinence. An implant can prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years or until it is removed.

Is she sensetive to all condoms? What about the one's not made of latex or whatnot. Consult a doctor for this.

You could buy an ovulation kit, and find out when she is ovulating. You can't get pregnant unless she is ovulating. So there is about 5 consecutive days out of the month you can't do it.
