SNL do be having more celeb but I think mad tv is funnier.

The only "funny" thing about SNL is how it hasn't been cancelled. It goes through years or casts that just are not terribly funny, and we are in the midst of such a cast now. MadTV is consistantly more humorous, even though it seems they too can do a sketch that is painfully to long, and not funny.
SNL needs to recast from the ground up, and MadTV needs to trim down a little more here and there, MadTV is the funnier show.

If I had to choose it would be Saturday night live as the funniest. I think it's a way better show, even though I do like madtv too. But SNL has been on for as long as it has been for a reason. No offense to madtv, but SNL is a funnier show. If I had to choose to go live on either show it would be SNL.

SNL all the way! It is the funniest, celeberitys don't make the show good the great comedy is what makes it excellent!( I'm not trying to degrade Mad TV, It has funny stuff in it but SNL Just packs The BIGGER PUNCH!)

im gonna have to say that snl is funnier because they have been on for a much longer amount of time and each one is very funny, i just think mad tv is just dumb but thats why people think its funny

I like SNL because the comedy is just a touch more sophisticated than MadTV. Not as over the top. Personally I think there is such a thing as TOO funny.

i was a die hard fan of mad tv for years, then the cast changed alot. snl does have funny moments. but i guess i still have to say mad tv. ... i loved spy vs. spy. why doesnt that appear anymore? anyone know?
