Both have pros and cons. 'microsoft' computers are good for business and gaming related software. Apple is probably the best when it comes to doing graphical editing.

Apple is better! I have had both and am about to buy a MacBook Pro to replace my PowerBook G4 that I have had for 6 years! I have never gotten a virus and have not had any trouble with it at all. I am very impressed. It is also user friendly and has the Sleek,stylish look. I have not found any cons.

They both have their pros and cons. There is more software available for Windows than for Mac but that is rapidly changing. Also, there are thousands of free, open-source software products that can run on Mac now that the Mac OS is based on a Unix derivative.
Macs tend to be more stable because it's operating system is designed for very few types of computer hardware, unlike Windows.
Many things with Macs are easier due to their simple interface.

Depends on what you want the computer to do. If you want it for graphics then apple is better all other applications microsoft would be better

While Macs look pretty, you get more value for your dollar going with a notebook the runs Windows XP. You also have a much wider selection of software and games to choose from with the notebook running Windows. I mean, even Mac notebooks are starting to run Windows!

apple computer are good because they dont get viruses, and have very good movie and photo editing software, also has great tech support
cons of apples- not a lot of software, and are very expensive
pcs- good for spreadsheets, have a lot of software, and is the most commonly used OS
cons of pcs- lots of viruses, spyware, adware, and not a evry stable system.
