Oh darling! It's not only "radical" Muslism groups. You have religious zealots all over the place. However, the media paints Muslims as if all of them are awful people. Don't, sweetie, blame a whole religion for a bunch of idiots that have a "Pinky and the Brain" mentality. Be good, dear!

in the name of ALLAH; the believer are required emphatically to do whatever they can towards popularising, defending and keeping alive and flourishing,as the best and truest way of life, the way of Islam and servility to ALLAH they have chosen for themselves. This in Islam is called Jehad. It can take many forms depending on the circumstances varying from time and place to place. Suppose there arise arise a situation in which it becomes difficult or even dangerous for a person or his family or community to profess Islam and to remain true to it.To be a Muslim may become the hardest thing to do in the world. In that case Jehad will lie in doing one's best for oneself, one's family or the community to stay firmly devoted to Islam. It would,be a most slendidJehad in those circumstatances. Similary, should muslims, through there own folly or negligence start drifting away from the faith, then at such a time to devote ones time and energy to there religious revival an reform too, would constitut a kind of jehad. To carry the Divine guidance to those that are ingnorant of it and make an earnest effort to persuade them wiesly and sympathetically to accept it it yet another form of jehad.Should believer in ALLAH and the Prophet[pbuh]be in powersomewhere and the condition demand that colective force be used for the defence and assistance of faith ,then.in that case the use of force for defence and assitance of faith according to the rules laid down for it such a step must not be motivated by personal or national self interest, greed or enmity. It should be taken solely to carry out the command of ALLAH and to serve the cause of His faith. ANd,secondly, that the rules prescribed for it are scurpulously observed. if force is used without the fulfilment of these conditions,it wil not be Jehad according to islam but wanton wickness and mischief. To speak a just word to a tyrannical ruler{be he a muslim or non-muslim}is, again a form of jehad. In the tradition it has been spoken of as the best of jehad. the Quran says: And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive with sincerity and under discipline. He has chosen you. and the Prophet said; To believe truthfully in ALLAH and to strive in the cause of Faith is the best of all deeds.
