very positive attitude but there are some things which are impossible at least for me as a 66 year old male...such as running the 4 minute mile or having a baby the natural way. But keep trying to do the impossible until you come up to something which is actually impossible... then give it up and move to the next challenge... Good Luck

The word, in fact is: IMPOSSIBLE.
Why do you think there is no such word as impossible? Possible means there is the potential for something to happen. 'IM', is a negation, like 'UN' or 'IN' which converts the word to a negative. Different combinations have evolved over time, and have been maintained, so today you have words such as unlikely; which means not likely; indivisible, which means can not be divided; and impossible, which means not possible. We don't say inpossible, or unpossible, because that isn't the way the language evolved.
But we do say IMPOSSIBLE.

According to the American Heritage Dictionary on Yahoo!, impossible means:

1. Incapable of having existence or of occurring.
2. Not capable of being accomplished: an impossible goal.
3. Unacceptable; intolerable: impossible behavior.
4. Extremely difficult to deal with or tolerate: an impossible child; an impossible situation.

It is descended from the Latin impossibilis. The Oxford English Dictionary records it as having been in use since 1300. Your question was witty as many of the things that people in Roman times or the Middle Ages would have thought as being impossible are commonplace.

That's a really clever moto. Addidas would love to use it. I think it's better than "Impossible is Nothing".

Do you mean like, " I - AM - POSSIBLE?" Because if you do - I like that. There is no impossible! Like Yoda says, "There is no TRY - only do...or do not." He's wise. And, you can do anything you set your mind to. It's all mental.
