Of course it isn't right. That's why our military has rules against it and will court martial and punish those that are found guilty of rape and murder of innocent civilians.

There is no American "policy" to rape anyone and you're a moron for suggesting such.
You can get up in arms about this as soon as the domestic rape rate is 0%. Until then, you need to realize that soldiers come from the general population so it can be expected that with over 100K of them over there, that there will be bad apples among the bunch.
For a group of people that hates God so much (liberals) you sure hold our troops to a god-like standard.
They will be investigated and if found guilty, they will be punished. The end. It does not invalidate our efforts.

In every group, there will be a few "bad apples." It is not right for innocent citizens to be raped/murdered by anyone. Our policies ARE NOT as bad as what the terrorists do. Remember 9-1-1? This was an act of terrorism.

In our own country there are rapes and murders everyday, our troops are not perfect, now and then there will be atrocities committed. The difference in us and the terrorists is that we are a nation of laws, once tried and if they are convicted, the soldiers who allegedly committed the rape and killing of the young woman and her family members will be punished. I am not making light of the situation, but please be realistic, it would impossible to screen each of these young people and make sure we are not enlisting a few that are capable of this type of behavior. It saddens all of us that anyone in our armed forces would do something like this but it does happen. Just be careful now not to paint all of the troops with a broad brush, condemn the bad, but remember to support the other fine young men and women that are there doing their jobs. Give the system time to work and I'm sure you will see that we will punish these people if they are found guilty of the crimes they have been accused of. Thanks

The two are unrelated. Ever hear two wrongs don't make a right?
Furthermore...American policy? Where did you hear that American policy condones the actions of these soldiers? AND should we give the soldiers the same rights they are fighting for? Should we not presume innocent til PROVEN guilty?

do they? can you separate the truth from the propaganda. are the iraqis that tell tales working for the enemy. do our news media eat it up because they like gossip better than the news or the truth. our media is no longer about the "news" it's who's first with the gossip and controversy.
