I noticed that the bridge of my guitar is starting to lift away from the body. What type of glue would be best for gluing it back down.

well you may have to heavy strings on it there should be a nut inside the body use a good wood glue but slacken the nut first , a 1/2 turn no more
as they tighten the nut to a tightness if you have a wrench with a gage get a reading before you slacken the nut , or drop it into a shop . and consider yourself hit over the head with flash light

I'm not a guitarist, but I do play the viola. If I needed a repair, I would not do it myself. On string instruments, the glue is not permanent--it can go away if it's wet or heated. I would bring your guitar to a guitar repair shop and they'll fix it.

guerilla glue is good but i would recommend taking it in. The glue is going to hodl temparily but the vibrationw ill be off its going to effect your harmonics.
