I think he is a hot head, Renaldo knew this and Rooney played straight into his hands. I think the ref was going to give a card anyway and Renaldo had nothing to do with the decision.

Actually yes, Rooney doesnt play like a nice-guy, think the referee noticed he didnt intend to stop playing rough and finally made the decision.

Yea! he did... he was too aggressive who stamped his own partner.. or fren... he got what he deserved... but i like rooney and ronaldo.. but playing is not enough ... discipline is also needed.. which Lacks in rooney.
