I'm just wondering if anyone else is madly obsessed with Harry Potter. Because, I feel like the only one who really loves him. I don't need you to like the movies or books 100%. I just need a rating from 1 to 10.

8/9 it was surprisingly good. I didn't start off as a Harry Potter fan, but became one after I saw the third movie on TV. It was surprisingly good, so I started reading the books. Then became addicted. Now I cant wait for the 7th book just to see how it ends.

Books, 10. Movies, average of 2. Harry Potter One was faithful but boring, 2nd was less faithful but probably the best of them all, 3rd, junk heap, 4th, a little better than 3rd but still a major disappointment. I hate the butcher job these guys are doing. Get it right!!!! If you're in love with Danielle Radcliffe, more power to you. I don't like him or even care for him.

i love the books 100%, so i gotta give it a 100% rating!
love the imagery...
the words are very understandable...
j.k. rowling is good at wordplays... love em wordplays like "Avada Kedavra."
the transition from one chapter to another is also great.
the development of characters is so cool and complete.
one doesn't need to read the books in chronology (e.g. read 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 in sequence).
the plotline and storyline are just so marvelous... well-thought out, well-planned, unique, and touches the heart of both a child and an adult.
the HP books are just so timeless.
sadly, the movies are just 50% in my standpoint.

10 because i'm obsessed. i love all the drama in book 6, the sad ending in book 5, the excitment in book 4, the twist ending in book 3, the action in book 2 and the happy ending in book1
