I have to disagree with the premise of your question. I do not think MOST people hate gays, another color besides white, and people with no money.

I don't. I have nothing against gays, another color besides white people, poor people etc. I used to be jelous of people different from me, that had some caracteristics that I didn't but wanted to, but now i'm cool coz everyone is special in their own way...

I don't hate anyone..well...maybe I do..and..yeah,you got a point..maybe because they have the courage(talking about gay people) to say out loud what they are or in the case of rich people.....hm..they can afford what we can't ..on the other side..people with no money..who hates them??i think we all just feel pity....

I think we hate people like ourselves because they give us competition. If there is someone exactly like you that you know, then you feel that they may be able to show you up. Some people judge others before they get to know them, and they think that that person is beneath them, so they don't like them.

I don't understand your question completely, but I have a possible answer: Maybe we hate them because people say: there is no one like you; but after you meet somone like you there is now. Also you think that they copy you, and you must not like that.

people strive for perfection and view others that do not fit the mold of perfection as wrong or bad. we have learned that to fit in we should change who we are or what we like to attain perfection...
sadly there is no such thing as perfection

Because deep down, we all hate ourselves.

Maybe we dislike people who are similar to us because they possess the qualities which we dislike about ourselves. Maybe we dislike people who are similar to us because of jealousy. Or, maybe we dislike people who are similar to us because we fear we will become very much who they are, and that repulses us.

well sometimes it has to do with the way you were raised. for example i was raised to love everybody no matter what. because i have a lesbian aunt and i love her dearly. but sometimes they are insecure and feel threatened about somebody who is exactly like themselves.
